AIP is looking for an Intelligence Analyst II to work in Brownsville, TX.  The Intelligence supervisor will oversee and administer the duty requirements in accordance with contract, PBNDS, ACA, OSHA and all applicable laws, regulations, and procedures. • Researches, gathers, and analyzes information from intelligence disciplines to determine potential threats and possible courses of action. Implements and disseminates strategic and tactical intelligence.
• Develops briefings, documents, presentations, and reports.
• Supports policy and procedure development for agency, interagency, or community-wide support.
• Identifies gaps in current intelligence gathered and prioritizes subsequent collection requirements.
• Assesses proposed solutions and recommended plans.  
• Performs work under general supervision.
• Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Typically requires BA and 2-4 years.
• Responsible for gathering intelligence on gangs and gang members within the detention facility. Analyze data, monitoring communications, and conducting interviews with non-citizens and staff.
• Working and communicating with Classification Officers assigned to Processing to identify non-citizens that may pose a threat to security.
• Responsible for identifying and tracking gang and/or disruptive activity within the facility. Monitor gang members behavior and activities, as well as identifying any new gang affiliations or alliances.
• Responsible for creating intelligence reports that detail gang and/or disruptive activity within the facility. These reports will be used by ICE officials to make informed decisions about non-citizen classification, placement and security measures.
• Intelligence gathering shall include but not be limited to gang affiliations; domestic terrorist groups; tracking of non-citizens having advanced skills in areas of concern (locksmiths, gunsmiths, explosives, and computers, et); narcotics trafficking; mail and correspondences; non-citizen financial information; non-citizen telephone calls; visiting room activity; and actions of high-profile non-citizens. Intelligence information will be shared with ICE and the PMO by providing reports within two (2) hours.
• Responsible for collaborating with local ICE officials and share intelligence information. Coordinate efforts with ICE to counter gang and/or disruptive activity within the facility.
• Provide information to staff within the facility on gang and/or disruptive activity, including how to recognize gang behavior, signs, tattoos and how to report gang-related activity.
• May be required to testify as subject matter expert on gang and/or disruptive activity.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all intelligence gathered and activities conducted within the facility. May be required to submit monthly statistical reports.
• Assisting with Non-Citizens Grievance responses
• Perform quality Control reviews on Special Management Disciplinary folders
• Assist with investigations as directed by the PMO / Project Management Office.
• Develop intelligence, safety and security systems ensuring that gang and/or disruptive activity is identified and addressed in a timely and effective manner.
• Other duties as assigned by PMO.

• US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the United States for permanent residence and have resided in the U.S. for the last five years.
• Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check (no criminal record).
• Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance.
• Pass all pre-employment and random drug tests.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid state drivers license.
• Must exercise good judgment, courage, alertness, an even temperament, and render satisfactory performance through his/her responsibilities.
• Ability to maintain poise and self-control during situations that involve mental stress, such as fires, explosions, disturbances and building evacuations.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance and calm demeanor.
• Maintain physical fitness for position requirements.
• Possess a high degree of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
• Maintain current/physical residence in the continental United States.
• Have at least 4 years of experience working in a Detention or Security setting or combination of Law Enforcement or Military experience.
• High School Diploma, GED or higher education.

Working Environment:

• The majority of the work is performed in an indoor/outdoor setting in a detention facility environment.
