Chipton-Ross is seeking an APG Mechanic for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The APG Mechanic joins the Greenville Site Operations aircraft-maintenance team to support F-16 sustainment, repair, and overhaul. Duties include general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems; performing operational checkouts; and conducting periodic inspections of electrical, hydraulic, propulsion, landing-gear, flight-control, airframe, furnishings, and crew-escape equipment. The role also requires removing panels and hardware to access and repair components as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

6+ Years of recent aircraft experience 4+ years if all in F-16 exp.

The Sustainment APG, F-16 Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:

• Landing gear
• Powerplants
• Flight controls
• Fueling/Defueling
• Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery.

SKILLS MATRIX:

• Aircraft Crew Chief/Mechanic experience - 4 - 6 Years
• F-16 - 4 - 6 Years
• Fighter Experience (F16,F18,F22,F35) - 4 - 6 Years

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

WORK HOURS:

• Full-Time
• Must be able to work 2nd shift.
• 2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

(will train on 1st shift and move to 2nd post training).
