Structures Mechanic

Position Requirements:

• Approximately 4 years of experience in aircraft structures or related field required
• FAA Airframe Certification preferred, but not required

Job Responsibilities:

• Install aircraft kits and afterspanet modifications
• Perform major and minor structural repairs and alterations, including sheet metal and composite repairs
• Fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations
• Read, interpret, and perform work in accordance with manufacturer drawings and instructions
• Measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures while ensuring no damage to the structure or underlying components
• Accurately document work performed
• Work collaboratively with a team to ensure quality and timely aircraft completions
• Assist with line crew duties as needed
• Demonstrate safe work habits and always wear proper PPE
• Consistently perform tasks with minimal to no rework
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs., and team-lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, climbing stairs, ladders, and work stands for extended periods
• Ability to stand throughout the entire shift
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools
• Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required
• Good vision to focus on small details and identify defects
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
• Willingness to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed
